Finding Peace in Chaos: 6 Mindful Madness Mindset Tips

Before you know it, 2024 will be among us. Here are a few quick tips for mindful thinking to get you started and bring in the new year with a routine.


  1. Set aside a couple of days a week to wake up early. If you have a busy household or want to identify some time for yourself – Wake Up Early!

  2. Begin and end your day with gratitude. Minimize your challenges by focusing on the positives.

  3. Pay attention to your thoughts. Negative feelings can weigh you down and cause many reactions to your mind, body, and soul. Think positively and know when negativity is trying to creep up on you.

  4. Need to think more clearly? Try shower meditation. Your best thoughts can come when shower water is pouring down on you.

  5. Set your daily intention. Be sure your intention is one that you will follow through on throughout the day. What do you intend to bring into your life or make happen today?

  6. Be present. If this means taking a moment to breathe in, exhale, or smell the roses – then take that moment and be present with that which is around you. Being present can be the morning breakfast time you spend with your family, playing a game with your children, or being present in your daily gardening ritual. Whatever it is for you –take a moment and be present.
